Account Profile Management

Learn how to manage your Tibus Cloud account profile, security settings, and preferences.

Personal Information

You can update your account information at any time:

  1. Click your name in the top right corner
  2. Select "Profile Settings"
  3. You can modify:
    • Full name
    • Company name (if applicable)
    • Contact phone number
    • Email preferences
  4. Click "Save Changes" to update your information

Password Management

To change your password:

  1. Go to Profile Settings
  2. Click "Security"
  3. Select "Change Password"
  4. Enter your current password
  5. Enter and confirm your new password
  6. Click "Update Password"

Two-Factor Authentication

Managing 2FA Settings

  1. Navigate to Profile Settings > Security
  2. Under "Two-Factor Authentication" you can:
    • View when 2FA was last used
    • Generate new backup codes
    • Reset 2FA (requires current 2FA code)

Resetting 2FA

If you need to reset your 2FA (e.g., got a new phone):

  1. Go to Profile Settings > Security
  2. Click "Reset 2FA"
  3. Verify with your current password
  4. Enter a code from your existing authenticator app or use a backup code
  5. Scan the new QR code with your new authenticator app
  6. Enter the code from your new authenticator to complete the setup

Lost Access to 2FA

If you've lost access to both your authenticator app and backup codes:

  1. Contact Tibus Support
  2. You'll need to verify your identity through alternative means
  3. Once verified, support can help reset your 2FA

Contact Preferences

Manage how we communicate with you:

  1. Go to Profile Settings > Notifications
  2. Configure preferences for:
    • Service updates and maintenance notifications
    • Billing alerts
    • Security notifications
    • Marketing communications
  3. Choose your preferred contact method for each type of notification
