Managing Networks
This guide covers the various aspects of managing your networks, including searching, sorting, and performing network operations.
Network Operations
Adding Subnets
- Navigate to the network details
- Click Add Subnet
- Configure subnet settings:
- Name
- Network address range (CIDR)
- Gateway IP (optional)
- DHCP settings
- Click Create to add the subnet
Removing Subnets
- Select the network containing the subnet
- Locate the subnet to remove
- Click the delete icon
- Confirm the deletion
Warning
Removing a subnet will affect any instances using IP addresses from that subnet. Ensure all instances are properly migrated before removing a subnet.
Editing Networks
You can modify various network settings:
- Network Details
- Update name
- Modify description

Add/remove tags

Subnet Configuration
- Adjust DHCP settings
- Update DNS servers
- Modify allocation pools
Deleting Networks
To delete a network:
- Ensure no instances are connected
- Remove all subnets
- Click the delete icon
- Confirm the deletion
Danger
Network deletion is permanent. Make sure to:
- Back up any important network configurations
- Migrate or terminate all connected instances
- Document the change for future reference
