Managing Networks

This guide covers the various aspects of managing your networks, including searching, sorting, and performing network operations.

Network Operations

Adding Subnets

  1. Navigate to the network details
  2. Click Add Subnet
  3. Configure subnet settings:
  4. Name
  5. Network address range (CIDR)
  6. Gateway IP (optional)
  7. DHCP settings
  8. Click Create to add the subnet

Removing Subnets

  1. Select the network containing the subnet
  2. Locate the subnet to remove
  3. Click the delete icon
  4. Confirm the deletion

Warning

Removing a subnet will affect any instances using IP addresses from that subnet. Ensure all instances are properly migrated before removing a subnet.

Editing Networks

You can modify various network settings:

  1. Network Details
  2. Update name
  3. Modify description
  4. Add/remove tags

  5. Subnet Configuration

  6. Adjust DHCP settings
  7. Update DNS servers
  8. Modify allocation pools

Deleting Networks

To delete a network:

  1. Ensure no instances are connected
  2. Remove all subnets
  3. Click the delete icon
  4. Confirm the deletion

Danger

Network deletion is permanent. Make sure to:

  • Back up any important network configurations
  • Migrate or terminate all connected instances
  • Document the change for future reference
